Autumn!

How beautifully
leaves grow old.
How full of light and color
are their last days.
~John Burroughs

Here in the Valley of the Sun
autumn comes late
and is very short lived.
Those of us who
put up with
our "winter" of
extreme summer heat
love the temps now,
especially me.

So here I am
doing ordinary things
tending my pots and plants

When the work is done,
i enjoy lounging in the sun
with a cold drink and a good book.

as you can see....
i've been working on my tan!
