This is so true,
and i'm no exception.
i cull out a few
photos and poses
because i don't like
this or that
about them.
 

 

On the other hand,
i've learned to become
more accepting
of who i am,
how i look,
and realizing
that there is beauty
in every curve,
every line,
of a human body.

Curves Ahead

Feel Like a Woman

this first photo is an example of what photos
look like when i take the first shot,
then run back to peek at the image --

to see if i have my body in the image,
if the settings are ok....
obviously they weren't so OK here!
but i found the visible garter appealing.

Do Nothing

Domesticated

i felt very domesticated today,

and cooked up a pot of stew --

simple basics:  beef, potato,

carrots and peas.  i let it simmer

in a pot of consomme and

french onion soup.



it will be delish for dinner!










although, i have to confess

i don't always dress down

this way to make supper!

Gratitude

Friday evening, and i felt
the need for a little bit
of a walk, so i grabbed
sadie and we headed off
to a local park for some
pix. 
(no opportunities for
anything but these.)

So many people are
using November to list
things of gratitude.
And i sure am grateful
for all of nature's beauty.
sometimes we're too busy
to notice ....

and sometimes it catches
our eye and we pause
in awe and wonder.

i'm also grateful for all
of you,
the ones who stop
by and see my pix on
a regular basis.

i think i've hit a wall
or a blue streak
or ... something equally difficult.
i seriously didn't think
i'd be updating my pix for a while.

Freedom

I've been thinking a lot about this blog
and the reasons I started it. 


one of the goals here was to share parts
and pieces of myself anonymously,
which leaves me a great deal of freedom
to do what i do.

the posts i make are a slice of me,
my simple life, and my thoughts.

about 95% of the time, there isn't
much of  a 'script' of any sort, some
would call it flying by the seat of
my pants -- ok, that's old school.
but most of you know what i'm
talking about. hehehe 

my photos are creations done on
the spur of the moment, along with
anything i write.  i wanted to create
an intimate kind of setting to share
things with you.  and most times i
feel as if i have succeeded

We hold in our hands the most precious gift of all:  Freedom.

The freedom to express our art. Our love.

The freedom to be who we want to be. 

We are not going to give that freedom away

and no one shall take it from us!
