Sometimes the urge to take photos

hits me at odd times of the day.

Which makes it that much more difficult

because I need to find light, or create light.

And sometimes, I just turn the camera to

self timer and dance....

most of what I get isn' t worth publishing,

and then there's this.

Makes me smile ... or dance!

so I had to try on my

Anne Klein's and see

if I can actually 

stand wearing them

on my feet!

I'm not much in the 

way of fancy shoes,

too impractical for

work!

Rain Dance

Yesterday we had the nicest

downpour! and I was hoping

for more of the same today....

so off I went into the backyard

to do my own little rain dance!

(as usual, Sadie had to get

     in on the act as well! )

Skates

Ok -- Show of hands.....
How many of you
have gone roller skating?

Roller skating popularity
comes and goes with decades
it seems
(Gotta love the 70s disco tunes tho!)

And looking back, I wonder
if I've spent more time in
skating rinks as an adult
than I did as a kid!!

September means
its my granddaughter's birthday

and no matter what she chooses
for a party
I -always- participate


So here I am, at 53,
and roller skating with the kids ....

while my ex looked on!

(and damn, I looked GOOD!)

At the end of a skate session,
they play the Cha Cha slide --
here I am,
right foot stomp,
left foot stomp,
and sliiiiiding
into a few moves :)
