V-Day

I hope you had a good Valentine's Day, my friend!

Mine was ... uneventful.  Typical day at work.

but that's ok with me!  All in all it wasn't a BAD day, so that's a plus!

When it comes to love on this greeting card holiday .....

eh, it's not something I even think about.

Everyone is at different stages in their life,

and we're all in the exact place we're supposed to be!

Carrie Bradshaw, from the hit show "Sex and the City"

says it like this:

“Some people are settling down,

some people are settling

and some people refuse to settle

for anything less than butterflies.”

Once upon a time, I settled down,

I also settled ....

never settle!

We're worth so much more than that!

Happy Heart Day!

Enjoy every single moment:

the good, the bad, the beautiful,

the ugly, the inspiring,

the not-so-glamorous moments,

and be thankful through it all!

Didn't get around to posting
my Valentine wishes to you
on Valentine's Day .....

suffice it to say it was a gorgeous
day here in the Valley of the Sun
and I was out enjoy it!

My first cactus blooms have begun
to appear, that means it's SPRING -
this is what I've been waiting for!

Time is too slow for those who wait,
Too swift for those who fear,
Too long for those who grieve,
Too short for those who rejoice,
But for those who love,
time is eternity.

Schokolade, pt 1

Happy Valentinstag!

I decided to have a little
Hershey's party.
And learned a few things.

“Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm…
......chocolate….”  ~ Homer Simpson

Nothing is
more romantic
than chocolate.
– Ted, Queer Eye For The Straight Guy

Here's what I learned:

first: hershey in a bottle... comes out cold.
second: use plastic drip cloth. it soaks thru sheets.
third:  have a clear path to the shower
fourth: have the shower hot and ready
fifth: once you start the pouring, you can't check camera settings
and last. its very very very sticky.

As a friend put it, "so basically not exactly all its cracked up to be..."
