Fun Day

“You can't stop the future

You can't rewind the past

The only way to learn the secret

...is to press play.”

― Jay Asher

I woke up this morning

and peeked outside

the day greeted me

with this sunrise.

I can remember my momma

telling me "go outside and play"

when all I wanted to do

was read a book or two.

Take if from me

Go outside and play!

Make it a fun day!

Of all the judgements

and beliefs

that each one of us owns,

none is more important

than the ones we have

about ourselves.

Dream a Dream

"To dream a dream

is to awaken your inner self.

Your wants,

your desires,

your passions

are given life."

i've been in a "dream" theme for the past couple of days,

and i'm not certain of the reasons for it.

perhaps it has something to do with

having some vivid dreams lately.

i go through times where i remember

dreams in detail, other times where i

know i dreamed but can't remember,

then there are those days when i'm

so tired... i can't remember if i

had a dream at all!

Move!

“I move, therefore I am.”
-Haruki Murakami, IQ84

i love the fluid motion of the scarf on the still morning air
there was a playfulness this morning that i haven't felt in
a long time - and that can be very uplifting!

everything

she had never

imagined before,

and she gave herself

to all that was

Voyeurs

"I'm convinced we all are voyeurs.

It's part of the detective thing.

We want to know secrets and

we want to know what goes on

behind those windows.

And not in a way that we

would use to hurt anyone.

There's an entertainment value to it,

but at the same time we want to know:

What do humans do?

Do they do the same things as I do?

It's a gaining of some sort of knowledge, I think."

-David Lynch
