'Just when you think it can't get any worse, it can.
And just when you think it can't get any better, it can.'
An old photo, as I'm too tired to go through the effort....
It's been a rough week. I visited family, to see Mom and
sis as she battles cancer. She's positive and upbeat, things
seem to be OK for now.
Had lunch with my friend; she had surgery last week to
remove cancerous lymph nodes. They think they got it all,
but who knows what's going on in these wondrous, marvelous,
miraculous yet vulnerable bodies of ours?
My aunt had a tumor on her bladder removed, and the PET scan
shows not good news. Fck Cancer! She's opted for no treatment
as she says "Life's been good" and she's 81, so 3-6 months.
My heart is heavy, it's one of the signs of aging, watching friends
and family go through these crises.
I don't know about you,
but it puts me in a mindset
to get my affairs in order!
